2017 A year in Photos
This past year started off kind of rough, with the closing of the Emmaus VFW. Due, in part, to our detachment's commitment to our community we very quickly found a new home at the Emmaus Fire Company No. 1. For the fifth straight year we were able to maintain a roster of over 100%. In addition to this some of our members have began to branch out and take leadership positions in other organizations. It is a good thing to see our detachment influence our veterans community in this way. We have also made connections with the local reserve unit and look forward to working with them in the future. Our website has grown as well, including the online roster page that we started (seen here). There are a lot of prospects to continue this growth into the year 2018, and I for one am looking forward to see how these pan out. - Commandant Jason M Smith
