2018 a year in photos

2018 saw the detachment continue its unprecedented span of growth. We as a detachment decided to once again move the location of our monthly meetings to Emmaus Fire Company # 2. Although Fire Company # 1 welcomed us with open arms, the location space they provided didn’t fit our detachment needs. At Fire Co. # 2 we now have a place where after our meetings we can all stay together and enjoy the camaraderie in the manner that we haven’t had since the VFW closed. We have also continued to grow our ranks, and for another year have maintained a roster of over 100%. This is very uncommon in veterans organizations nation wide and I believe this can be attributed to the family vibe that we have within Detachment 296. It has been and will continue to be my honor to be Commandant of this detachment, and I look forward to continuing our hard work.
